KINECTICUT ENSEMBLE VORTEX (GENEVA)


Bendigo Art Gallery is proud to host the local premiere of composer Daniel Zea's Kinecticut to be performed by Ensemble Vortex, the Swiss headline act of the 2014 Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music. Part sound installation, part living sculpture, Kinecticut complements The Body Beautiful in Ancient Greece. Please note this performance contains nudity.

Art Lounge is a social space for creative thinking, big ideas and open conversation. Enjoy a drink with friends then be inspired by special guests as they explore notions of the body and beauty. Presented in conjunction with The Body Beautiful in Ancient Greece.

ANATOMICAL DRAWING MASTERCLASS


Students will use various drawing materials to create their own anatomical studies, reflecting the grace and strength of ancient Greek ideals. Celeste Chandler, lecturer in painting and drawing, will lead the sessions.
