2008 is the sixth and final year of the Robert Jacks Drawing Prize. Renowned artist Robert Jacks initiated the competition and the prize attracts entries from across Australia.
From more than 300 entries, this year’s judge, Dr Chris McAuliffe, Director, Ian Potter Museum of Art will announce the winner of the prize at the opening. The Prize is a $5000 non-acquisitive award. The winner of this year's prize was Laith McGregor for his work Balloon Beard.
