Stories and shadows – Collage

Inspired by Indigenous artist Karla Dickens’s colourful art works, this workshop will focus on both collage and stories. To begin, children will explore the vintage materials and shadow imagery Karla incorporates in her art. Then in the Gallery studio space children will delight in selecting their own materials and images to tell their story. Like Karla, children will have the opportunity to create their collage using both fabrics and an assortment of colourful papers and pens.
