Bendigo Art Gallery is a unique learning space with a extensive permanent collection dating from the 19th century to today. Through this collection the Gallery provides the opportunity for students to see the development of the visual arts in Australia and gain insights into Australian history, the environment and the nature and growth of Australian society. Aswell as our permanent collection each year Bendigo Art Gallery has an extensive special exhibition program.
To discover the collection and exhibitions the education department provides students and teachers with a wide range of tours, workshops and resources. These are designed to link with many VELS, VCE, VET and VCAL outcomes
